At OASIS, our mission goes beyond bringing speech therapy to vulnerable communities in Dominican Republic. We also strive to remove barriers for the very people who make our work possible—our student volunteers.
Many of the students who join our program are pursuing graduate degrees in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, or related fields. They are passionate about serving children but may face financial limitations that make it difficult to cover housing, meals, transportation, or therapy materials during their time in DR.
